The first round was a pre-recorded interview. It included very easy behavioral and HR questions, such as:
- Why should we hire you?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Do you need sponsorship?
- What is your cumulative GPA?
You should be able to answer these questions.
The second round, however, involved many technical questions related to coding, digital signal processing, and mathematics (linear algebra, differential equations, and calculus).

You get a chance to influence a lot of MATLAB and Simulink users around the world, regardless of job level.
Wednesdays: free breakfasts.
Smart people.
Good work environment; fun.
Yearly summer and winter outings.
Cons: Salary
It's a great company, and you get to influence a lot of users worldwide. I think the average pay should be a bit more.

Pros: Good name in the industry.
Good compensation.
Motivation to move out from EDG.
Smart peers.
Cons: Management in EDG doesn't care about ASE's career development or learning. All they want to do is save their a** and look good in front of higher management. The program is portrayed as one which gives flexibility and freedom to pursue your interests, but that is rarely the case. Managers start thrusting some stupid timelines and documents on you and will keep wanting you to do more technical support in the name of "Leadership Qualities."
