The interview process was structured in four parts:
They were great in helping me get through the interview process quickly, as I had been interviewing with many companies and was almost certainly about to get an offer. (I did get an offer from another company following MathWorks' on-site interview.) The coding challenge and technical interview might be tough for non-Computer Science majors, or if you don't have a certain focus in Mechanical Engineering (my background). However, as long as you have done a fair bit of coding, you'll probably do well enough.
They do focus on diversity, so I would recommend steering the technical phone interview towards the experience you do have. They got back to me quickly and were extremely good about keeping me in the loop during the whole process.
