Gave a talk and met with many people. The strangest issue was that MathWorks allows telecommuting no more than 3 days a year and requires employees to be at the office from 10 AM to 4 PM on all the other 247 work days of the year. Also, they don't generally allow people to work part-time. Overall, they have an unusually unfriendly set of policies for parents of school-age children.
