A sourcer reached out about the role. After screening, I had one interview with the team manager, and then a virtual on-site loop consisting of 5-6 interviews. My feedback was good, and I was moving forward in the offer process. However, I got caught up in the hiring freeze.

When I contacted my recruiter at the start of 2023, who appears to still be employed at Meta, I received no response. While I sympathize with those at Meta worried about their jobs, or who have already lost one, it's disappointing to be ghosted after putting so much time and effort into the process. Also, my entire interview history was wiped from their portal, as if nothing had ever occurred.
