Pros: 1. Food 2. Good office 3. Lots of work if you enjoy doing work. 4. Self Automation: The company encourages you to find your own projects and then drive those projects yourself. This is expected starting from the junior ICs, which prepares people for tough challenges and to acquire new skills. 5. Learn and do the right thing: A good amount of people are very talented in the company, mostly people before 2020. If you are lucky to work with them, then learn from them and try to always find what is the best solution for the business.

Cons: 1. There is a lot of bullying. 2. People will throw you under the bus. 3. At the end of the day, it is just you fighting for yourself. 4. You don't get the reward/acknowledgement for your work.

Pros: Good pay. Excellent resume eye-catcher. Best practices in data engineering and some good documentation that can be learned from.

Cons: You are a small moving part of a big engine. Leadership doesn't know you exist as an IC. Try hard enough to prove your impact to get into the cult. Too much empire building. Job specific - even though you would learn a lot about Data Engineering, the learning you get exponentially decreases. You learn more how to communicate rather than technical stuffs.

Pros: Stress, PSD all the time, fear of layoffs, pressure to perform, and impossible turnaround times.

Cons: Same as pros, which aren't really pros.
