Process

The whole process took 2 months.

The sourcer was super nice, but the recruiter ghosted me after the onsite without giving a rejection.

The two interviewers in the ETL rounds were weird and very impolite. They only wanted the best solution. When I asked if I could write a basic solution first, they said no.

I would say don't put 100% of your energy on the interview. Everything totally depends on the person who is interviewing you.

Questions

Don't focus only on LeetCode SQL questions. Their questions are more high-level.

Prepare for advanced ETL questions.

You should write the best solution immediately instead of just writing the solution down.

Pros: 4 months paid leave with newborns, work from home Wednesdays, unlimited high-quality food. I can always walk in the park on the roof if I need some fresh air. The food is consistently great.

Cons: The only legitimate con I have about working here is meeting start times. Meetings go from 12:00-1:00, for example, with the following meeting starting at 1:00 promptly. This naturally leads to people starting meetings late. Also, I get withdrawals on the weekends when at home because the food here is so good. It causes me to eat out more on the weekends, and thus I don't actually save on my food bill.

Pros: 4 months paid leave with newborns, work from home Wednesdays, unlimited high-quality food. I can always walk in the park on the roof if I need some fresh air. The food is consistently great.

Cons: The only legitimate con I have about working here is meeting start times. Meetings go from 12:00-1:00, for example, with the following meeting starting at 1:00 promptly. This naturally leads to people starting meetings late. Also, I get withdrawals on the weekends when at home because the food here is so good. It causes me to eat out more on the weekends, and thus I don't actually save on my food bill.
