Process
Initial recruiter interview, followed by a tech interview with a Facebook engineering manager.
After one month, I had six online loop interviews on the same day.
The recruiter was very helpful and provided a lot of material.
Questions
Standard behavioral interview questions.
Instagram design in System Design interview.
Problems involving standard data structures. LeetCode practice would have helped.

Supportive Culture, High Expectations
Engineering Manager • Current Employee
San Francisco, California, United States
May 24, 2020
Pros: Facebook deeply cares about its employees and has built a compelling culture around support and growth.
Career growth opportunities are plentiful. If you don't like the team you're on or don't get the support you want from your manager, Facebook empowers you to find new teams or projects.
Facebook wants its employees to be invested in their work and to feel connected to its larger mission.
If large-scale opportunities and growth are important to you, Facebook is a fantastic place to work.
Cons: Facebook's culture is demanding and fast-paced. The greatest aspect of working at Facebook is that everyone is very motivated and very smart. The problem with this is that they all expect the very same of you. Holding a very high bar for excellence can certainly be demanding, so it's important to make sure you're always carefully paying attention to your own personal work/life balance.

Great Boost to Your Career
Engineering Manager • Former Employee
Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel
December 26, 2024
Pros: Working at Meta can be a great boost. It's not only the adding of the name to your resume, but you learn how to work in a big corporation, working globally and with different teams all over the world.
If you want to push your agenda, you need to know how.
Cons: The same thing that goes into the Pros can also go into the Cons.
Some people might find it too big, hard to push their agenda, and would better work in small startups.
You will not know until you try it.
