Enterprise Engineer Interview Experience

Process

I was approached by a recruiter from that department through LinkedIn.

I had the phone screening, and I thought the recruiter was okay. The problem arose during the phone interview.

The interviewer initially asked me to write pseudocode, stating we didn't have enough time to finish everything. I wrote the pseudocode and explained it to him.

However, he suddenly asked me to write the full code at the very end. I didn't manage to finish writing the entire code and was subsequently rejected.

I felt as though he was toying with me. It was a very disappointing experience from a company like Facebook.

Questions

Given an integer, translate it into English words. For example, 432,000 becomes 'four hundred thirty-two thousand'.

Another straightforward question: Given an array and an integer z, rotate the array starting from index z to the front. For example, with ['a', 'b', 'c', 'd', 'e', 'f', 'g'] and z=3, the result is ['e', 'f', 'g', 'a', 'b', 'c', 'd'].
