The process began with an internal HR phone screen after I submitted my CV on Facebook's career website. This was followed by two typical tech phone screens before I was invited to Facebook HQ.
The interviewers and HR staff were all very nice, smart, and passionate. I felt I had performed reasonably well during the on-site interview, even though I did need some help from the interviewers and the code on the whiteboard was definitely not perfect. The feedback indicated that I wasn't the best fit for the UI/UX team.
One week after the on-site interview, I was scheduled for another phone interview with a different team. However, it was completely outside my area of expertise, so it wasn't surprising that it didn't work out.
Overall, it was a very good experience. The HR people were very nice and helpful, and I was excited to have had the opportunity to visit the Facebook campus.
