Lead QA Engineer Interview Experience - Seattle, Washington

Process

I set up a call with a recruiter and confirmed the day and time. The recruiter never called and never replied to my follow-up, asking if another time would work best. Of all the companies I've interviewed with, I have never had a recruiter not call or email after a day and time was confirmed.

Update - 5 days later: The recruiter actually did get back in touch with me via email and scheduled another call. I gave the benefit of the doubt; everyone makes mistakes. The recruiter again didn't call me at the agreed-upon time. It's clear that Facebook doesn't value my time as a candidate.

Update - 10 days later: I decided to give the recruiter the benefit of the doubt one last time and was eventually able to connect on the phone. Basic questions included:

  • What do you do with no documentation?
  • How do you debug an app crash?
