Mechanical Engineer Interview Experience - Austin, Texas

Process

The whole process took 3-4 months, with several phone screens and conversations with their technical team.

It was fairly straightforward if you are familiar with a data center environment, electronics packaging, and associated challenges.

The final interview was intense. I recommend prepping beforehand, as you will have multiple interviews back-to-back and a lot of ground to cover in each.

Expect technical and soft-skill questions, along with an analysis of your technical abilities.

Questions

After looking at an old prototype from one of their server environments, you are tasked with finding design flaws and thinking through the challenges that particular model posed for the company.
