Process

I could barely hear the interviewer, and sadly, was asked some basic questions one can easily Google, not the high-level questions expected for an engineer. I would like to see questions like, 'Please explain your system at work and let me know what the most important thing to improve in it.'

Questions

What does uname -r display?

What command do you use to trace a system call on a running process?

What is a file descriptor?

How do you control the size of a core dump for a process running under a specific user or group?

What protocol translates from IP addresses to MAC addresses?
