Not a blatant bait and switch, but nearly. Older generation manager - fair-minded - watch out for the younger types. My concern arose when I asked about other technologies used and was given the message - "You're off the reservation." Right away, I knew this was not going to be a good match. The job did not fit the profile of what I call a performance engineer; it was more an equipment management sizing role.
