My experience with Facebook recruitment was very good. I applied through their careers page and received an email from a recruiter no more than 10 minutes later. I was sent a link to an online quiz that had questions related to the role I was applying for. After my responses, the recruiter scheduled a quick call.
I then proceeded to two 45-minute online coding interviews with two different engineers from Facebook. Both interviews were very pleasant and relaxed. The questions were not too difficult at the start but then became more complex. The people who interviewed me were very friendly and reasonable; it did not feel like they were testing me (even though they were), but rather like we were evaluating my fit for the role together.
After my interviews, I was very uncertain of how I did. The recruiter called me and informed me that they wanted me on the team, and they gave me an offer.
Facebook has been very friendly, present, and helpful at all steps in the recruitment process.
