This recruiter was very creepy. I was contacted no less than 25 times over a two-month period through various channels, including LinkedIn direct messages, email, and phone.
The recruiter even called and left a message on Memorial Day while I was at Arlington. Against my better judgment, I responded and set up a time with the recruiter. She ghosted me with a no-call-no-show. She did apologize and rescheduled, and she actually made good the second time.
I completed a career profile on their website. After speaking with her, she said she was going to contact me again and email me some information within hours. Ten days later, I never heard back. I just received a reminder to complete a quiz on their site.
I've never done this in my 20 years, but I got the name of the recruitment supervisor and called him. I explained the inappropriate volume of communication followed by ghosting, and that calls on Memorial Day to service members cannot be tolerated. I stated that I am not interested in employment now or at any time in the future, and requested to not be contacted in the future for any reason.
We have a super cool opportunity for you.
