Next, she directed me to another recruiter who asked me:
- One basic data structures/algorithms-based question
- A file parsing question

A Fun and Challenging Place to Work
Production Engineer • Current Employee
New York, New York, United States
October 6, 2020
Pros: Bootcamp is awesome. Team selection improves your chances of finding a team where you can have the most impact. Your peers and managers are friendly and competent. If you love technology, this is a good place to be. The large-scale distributed systems at FB will provide you with plenty of fun challenges.
Cons: The dev tools add quite a bit of friction to the dev process. They are an excellent opportunity to have a lot of impact :-).

So, so... Better than some, I am sure
Production Engineer • Former Employee
New York, New York, United States

Pros: There is a lot of interesting tech, though as a PE, we are farther from the metal than I like.
Cons: It's a bit cutthroat. Dubious value to society. Everything they do was an idea they stole from someone else.

IMPACT, but at what cost?
Production Engineer • Current Employee

Pros: The classic FAANG perks, the sick campus, the IMPACT.
Cons: The fact that the CEO keeps getting dragged in front of Congress to answer for calamities FB policies enable is a bit of a downer, I will say.
