The interview process consisted of:
All interviews were whiteboard sessions, lasting 30-40 minutes each.
I spent five hours in their office and received only an auto-generated email stating, "Thank you, try again in 12 months." No feedback was provided. When I explicitly asked for guidance on areas for improvement, I was told, "We have a policy not to provide any feedback."
This was my second attempt. I had an onsite interview 1.5 years ago with the same outcome. The previous experience was even worse; the recruiter was inexperienced and unprofessional. I arrived at their office only to be told the interview had to be rescheduled without explanation. It appeared as though the recruiter or interviewer had simply forgotten about the scheduled interview. No cancellation notice was sent, so I wasted time taking leave from work to attend.
I do not plan to spend any more time with this company unless they provide detailed feedback on previous interviews. I recommend others do the same; collectively, asking for feedback might encourage them to review their policy. Otherwise, the only reason to attend is for a free lunch.
P.S. I am aware that Google employs a similar approach, which does not make it acceptable. This method is flawed and disrespectful to candidates and their time.
