Only interview here if you have memorized LeetCode and can replicate the code within minutes. They don’t care if you are able to think and talk about a solution, even.
I hope someday interviews would be such that the candidate can also ask a coding question to the interviewer. This way, the interviewer would have some common sense about the right way to evaluate the candidacy of the interviewee, and the interviewee could evaluate if he/she considers the interviewer knowledgeable enough to be a colleague.
What’s hilarious is I asked the question to someone who had worked at FB in the past (and was a star), and the person could not come up with a solution. So, LeetCode is the way!
Useless questions you'd never have to code during your career!
