I applied through an employee referral and received a call for the first round of a technical interview.

It was a coding challenge to be completed on CoderPad.

There were two questions, one based on strings and another on binary trees. The goal was to optimize the code with the best complexity.

I solved both questions but was rejected the next day.

Find the longest distance between any two nodes in a binary tree.
