It was a very pleasant experience, though I didn't receive an offer. The recruiter was helpful in preparing me.

Pros: Facebook is absolutely full of smart people; this means you work with the best and grow quickly.
The scope of the challenges is quite large, and our management (especially in engineering) is top-notch.
The company is very employee-friendly, has an awesome culture, and works hard on transparency.
Cons: We're growing, which loses some of the small-company feel, and career paths aren't always obvious, but these are small complaints.

Great pay, but high stress and bad work-life balance

Pros: Great benefits - one of the best health, dental, and vision insurance plans, on top of delicious free food, shuttles, and a generous salary.
Good pay.
Currently, internal mobility is not too difficult. You do have to be in the team that you started on for at least a year before being eligible to change teams, but it's not hard to do so after that.
Cons: * Lots of politics and fighting for scope.
* Culture/WLB has recently gone downhill due to everyone being worried about stack ranking. Folks are less willing to help onboard new folks (could be intentional due to stack ranking or unintentional - too busy, can't prioritize onboarding). People frequently work nights and weekends as well.

Pros: Great offices all over the world. At the time, it was offering hybrid or remote options very generously.
There are very nice perks and benefits, from offices and food to third-party discounts on car purchases, rentals, and funds for health benefits, etc.
Cons: The tough environment at layoff times, where all managers and their teams are under pressure to show some performance when there is not a super clear future. Sometimes you miss the feeling of fulfillment.
