Software Engineer Interview Experience - Brazil

Process

The recruitment team visited the university to present the process and share contact information. I contacted the recruiter via email and received a response within two weeks.

I had an initial phone screen where the recruiter asked me about my background and interests in the company. The recruiter also outlined the recruiting process and scheduled me for a technical interview via Skype.

The technical interview lasted approximately 45 minutes. At the beginning, the interviewer inquired about interesting projects I had worked on, before moving on to technical questions. Due to an NDA, I cannot disclose the specific questions, but it was a basic question related to string handling.

After one week, I received notification that I did not pass the interview. I requested feedback, but the recruiter stated that it was their policy not to provide feedback to candidates.
