Great place to work

Pros: Even as an intern, I was able to work on high-impact projects for the caching infrastructure. All the people at Facebook are really talented engineers.
Cons: Sometimes, it can get pretty daunting for an intern. Facebook has a ton of internal tools and a lot of internal documentation, and it is easy for an intern to get lost in the myriad of internal stuff.

Pros: They are actively making sure you learn, and they place you in projects that will impact the product in reality. These are projects that real IC3s would work on if you weren’t there.
Cons: It’s a bit overwhelming because of how fast-paced it is, and I suffered a re-org halfway because FB Live Shopping was being deprecated. Aside from that, it was a great experience.
