Software Engineer Interview Experience - Palo Alto, California
Process
The process took about two weeks. I was referred by a friend.
The interview questions were not difficult. I had only one phone interview.
Firstly, we spoke about my background and my projects. After that, I had a coding task, similar to LeetCode problems. I managed to complete it, though not in the most optimal way. After receiving a hint from the interviewer, I resolved it correctly.
Overall, I had a positive experience from the interview. However, my English level is not high, and my explanations were awful.
Questions
Given a huge file of several terabytes, which contains different words, you should remove duplicates from the file.
