I interviewed specifically for an iOS engineer role. The entire process took about a month and a half. It could have gone faster, but I had a long vacation between the phone screen and the on-site interview.
The phone screen was very standard, featuring a LeetCode question plus some iOS knowledge. I was notified the next day for the on-site interview.
The on-site interview consisted of 4 rounds plus lunch. Two rounds were coding interviews with some iOS knowledge tests. One was a system design interview, mainly focused on white-boarding an iOS app with specific requirements. The final round was behavioral with a small coding question at the end.
My recruiter was great at keeping me up to date. She contacted me the next day after the on-site interview to let me know the result was looking good. She explained every detail of the hiring process and who she was talking to, mentioning hiring committees and specific days when they acted as my champion.
When I received the compensation details, she encouraged me to think of data points I could provide for a counter-offer.
I was also invited on-site after receiving the offer to meet with some managers and senior engineers, so they could help answer some of my questions.
Overall, I really liked that the whole process was super transparent, and everyone I met was super nice and helpful.
