Process
They were very nice.
First, I was contacted by a girl who said she would pass my C.V. on.
Afterwards, a guy who was in the same field area as me interviewed me.
All interaction was on the phone.
Questions
You have a 4x4 board with words. For example:
A B G H O L L E E R T Y G E F Y
You need to write a function that finds if a certain word exists in the board. The rules are as follows:
- Each character needs to be close to one another (neighbor cell). For example, the function will return false for the word "HERE" but true for the word "HEY".

Pros: - There's always something to learn; I was always afraid joining a big company would make me stick to one task.
- Lots of different domains of work that you can choose from.
- Freedom to decide how you want to make the company better, and that's what defines your job.
- We build fast and improve fast, that also includes improving salary and lifestyle.
- Lots and lots of perks that you can read everywhere about.
Cons: The product is used worldwide, and you can break things worldwide, which is stressful.

Software Engineer • Current Employee
Menlo Park, California, United States
November 13, 2012
Pros: Awesome perks and sense of purpose.
High impact.
Low bureaucracy even as the company grows.
It's fun to work on a product that your friends and family use.
Cons: High stress.
High work hours (60-80 hours).
Expected to always be available.
No 401k plan.
Social is getting a bit played out.
Sometimes I long to work on cool projects like self-driving cars or mobile payments.
