It was a stressful interview. My interviewer was hard to understand and kept asking questions that seemed basic, as if he wasn't familiar with JavaScript. I had to take time to explain the fundamentals, and I wasn't even sure my message got through.
I efficiently solved both questions, but given the communication issues and how the interview played out, I am unsure I'll advance to the next rounds. I waited too long for this opportunity, and I have a feeling I won't get to the next rounds because of my interviewer.
It sucks how technical interviews are structured. You can hit a home run with all the questions, but it ultimately depends on your interviewer.
I never really leave reviews, but I'm just so stressed out about how this played out. I hope I get invited to the onsite.
