Pros: Cross-border remote. Ability to switch between projects.

Cons: yearly performance review is too stressful and competitive

Pros: - Pay is very high. - Bonuses are good. - Stock is excellent. - Leadership seems to know what they are doing.

Cons: Culture only pretends to be bottoms up. All important decisions are made top down and in a secret way. You find out after the fact. No matter how many Q&A questions get answered, nothing is ever changed by them. Constantly have to walk on eggshells. They have an internal anonymized microaggression reporting tool. If you end up on it, you can be fired. You can be reported by anyone for anything they feel hurt their feelings in any way. People will pretend to get offended by something you did as a means of politically attacking you or trying to discredit your work. If someone claims to be offended, you don't find out about it; they go straight to your boss or to HR.

Pros: The amount of freedom each individual has is amazing. Tons of perks. :D The culture is now more balanced; we move fast but also focus on maintaining stability. I had to move to a new country to join Facebook but never felt out of place. It never felt like a job to me.

Cons: We have a very active social life with colleagues, but it is limited to weekends with other friends. From what I've seen, it's tougher to maintain work-life balance once you are married.
