I was contacted by email by two recruiters. They were very nice and attentive, providing material to help with my doubts.
There would be 2 or 3 rounds of phone interviews before the result, but I was out in the first.
My interviewer was pretty cool, nice, and really sincere.

Cons: Frequent re-orgs can make it difficult to stay oriented and build expertise for long enough to show good impact and get promoted. That's somewhat luck of the draw, though; your mileage may vary.
