Process
The interview process typically involves:
- A phone screen with two LeetCode-style medium problems.
- Followed by a panel of two more coding rounds.
- A couple of design rounds.
- And a behavioral interview.
The more senior the level band you are interviewing for as an individual contributor (IC), the more emphasis there is on design and behavioral aspects. There are also additional rounds to gauge your system design skills.
I have received an offer, but Meta has eliminated its Bootcamp program for team matching. Consequently, I have been in a multi-month waiting status for a team to be assigned.
