Worst experience with the Facebook recruiting team! I was really excited about the opportunity but would never, ever recommend anyone.
My friend referred me to Facebook and I got an email to schedule a prescreening call. I scheduled it as per the instructions.
The recruiter never replied and never called at the scheduled time. I asked my friend to check what was going on.
He found out that the recruiter was ill and in the hospital, which is understandable (I hope she gets better soon).
He emailed her manager about the situation. The next day, I got a rejection directly without any prescreening call or anything.
Things they should learn from Google! Even though Google has 5-6 times the number of employees and maybe many more applications, their recruiting process is much smoother.
