Process
I was contacted by a recruiter after dropping my resume at the career fair.
After two phone screens, I was invited to attend a 'University Day' at the Menlo Park office for one onsite interview.
Each phone screen is generally about 45 minutes long and consists of two to three programming questions to be coded on Collabedit.
The recruiter and interviewers were very helpful and extremely organized.
Questions
All programming interviews.
Mostly questions on recursion, backtracking, trees, and graph theory.
Be comfortable with data structures too.
Questions from Careercup and Glassdoor are helpful for practice.

Pros: Established, well-respected company with prestige and strong engineering.
Sets and defines industry standards.
Pay is top-of-the-line, benefits are amazing, and perks are unbelievable.
Cons: - Overworked with extremely high expectations.
- No hand holding whatsoever.
- "Impact" (measurement used to describe success) sometimes left intentionally vague.
- People are not really sociable, socially-aware, or generally likeable.

Pros: Interns treated with just as much respect as FTEs.
Have more fun events as an intern at FB than the FTEs do.
Company phone loaned to you for the summer.
Feel like you have a real sense of freedom and potential to change the world.
Felt like my voice would be heard and respected if I voiced diversity concerns.
Cons: - They don't have a PM internship program (otherwise I'd want to stay forever).
- Feel super pressured to do your best (maybe it was just me?). It's intense to the point of potential burnout.
(Good news is you can reach out to many resources, such as your HRBP, if you feel this way! Don't go it alone, everyone! Reach out! It helped me a lot.)

Pros: Great benefits for interns. The internship format is well-structured and formulaic. There is a lot of mentorship.
Cons: Not too different from what you would find at other big tech SWE internships. Feels a bit siloed as an intern.
