Process

I was contacted by a recruiter for an internship. We scheduled the interview, and I had two video conference interviews the same day, each lasting about an hour.

Both interviewers were nice, and by the time of the second interview, I felt pretty good.

Questions

Question about my research, contagious sum array, then another graph question.

Second interview was about finding a peak in an array. There is a clever solution in O(log(n)) worst case.

Pros: Fast-moving, good benefits. The hours aren't as awful as some tech companies (looking at you, Palantir). Lots of flexibility to move teams, etc.

Cons: It's hard to stand out from everyone else. There are a lot of talented people around with often the same ideas.
