Process

I applied online in October 2015. In December, I received an email from a recruiter asking for my preferred date and time to schedule the first technical phone interview, which I attended in January.

During the interview, I was asked a couple of algorithm questions. I took a lot of time to solve them, and the process lasted the entire interview. The interviewer was very nice and provided useful hints to reach an optimal solution. At the end, I managed to solve the questions but did not receive a callback for a second round.

I asked for feedback, and the interviewer responded that the questions were not that difficult and shouldn't have taken me so much time. They also noted that I wasn't accurate with my coding (I did fumble with the code initially). In my opinion, I didn't do too well in reaching the optimal solution; I sort of stumbled upon it.

The recruiter was very nice and prompt in responding to emails throughout the process, and the interviewer was genuinely helpful.

Questions
