Software Engineer (Internship) Interview Experience

Process

I reached out to a university recruiter who had visited our campus a couple of times. They were very nice and gave me a full critique of my resume.

They still liked my experience enough to refer me to a technical recruiter. The technical recruiter called about a week later, and we performed the white-boarding test. Questions were asked over the phone, and I was expected to put my answers into an online IDE that they could see.

The first two questions were relatively easy, but the last one was very difficult, and I didn't finish it well (time complexity was too high).

I did not receive an offer.

Questions

Asked me about my technical experience and any relevant coding projects.
