Difficult but worth it
Significantly improved both my technical and leadership skill sets.
Nearly all of the people I worked with were friendly and competent.
Pay was fantastic.
I worked 40 hours per week most weeks and didn't get pressure to work longer hours.
The expectations of my job were very fuzzy for a long time, making the review cycle very stressful.
There was sometimes focus from my managers on gaming the review system rather than doing the best work I could do.
