I have been with Facebook for less than a year, but I already love this company. There are so many internal tools and so much support from more experienced engineers. I can feel that my knowledge is growing every single day.
Hm, the only disadvantage I can see is that there are no disadvantages so far :(
Recruiter call: fairly easy to arrange. It was followed by a self-service careers portal invite to arrange round 1, which had two interviews: one system design and one behavioural. It was easy to arrange, except for a few niggles in the portal login.
90-minute technical interview that consisted of 4-5 moderate to difficult questions. The recruiters I liaised with were very nice and encouraged me to apply again despite being unsuccessful the first time around, as they said this was very common.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took three weeks. Interviewer were very interactive, and gave pointers when needed. The feedback throughout the interviews was also great, and recruiters did a good job of managing expectations. Ti
