I received a difficult question during the phone call. I tried to work it out, but I didn't have enough time to go through the whole code and run the testing cases.

It was ok, very tech, but ok code review and different exercises to do with very little time, but not impossible to do. Very bad interviewers, especially technical people; they are managers without people skills.
