The experience at FB was pretty good! FB has excellent internal tools and infra to make life easy for devs.
FB really promotes a strong engineering culture and has a lot of opportunities for taking ownership and initiative.
If you do well, you can get a "rockstar" return offer with up to a $100K signing bonus.
Documentation was pretty trash, but that's part of FB's "move fast and break things" culture.
WLB is also typically poorer than most other Big N companies (say Google or Microsoft).
I interviewed at Meta for a Software Engineer position. The process began with a recruiter screen, followed by two technical interviews focused on data structures and algorithms. Questions included topics like: * Graph traversal * Dynamic programm
Pretty normal. Really, nothing outside of the ordinary if you've read other reviews or posts online about the interview process. There isn't much else to add here. If you've researched any prep guides for Meta interviews, it's as expected.
Coding assignment to write an algorithm to solve a problem described by the interviewer. You get time to think about a solution and then write the code. After this, you will be asked questions about your solution.
