Good for a big company
Intern - Software Engineer • Former Employee
Redmond, Washington, United States
May 4, 2020
Pros: Large amount of resources for interns to learn, including a lecture series. In addition, there were speaking and leadership opportunities available.
Free housing or a $7000 stipend.
Lots of fun events organized through the "summer camp" program and events for specific divisions of the company.
Cons: Microsoft is a huge company. This fundamentally changes the way that people work and interact, as there is less individual accommodation and conformity is valued.
