Process

I studied and reviewed what I learned in my PhD studies to prepare for this interview process. The hiring manager reached out to me within days.

What was scheduled to be a 45-minute interview lasted for well over an hour. They asked me lots of questions relevant to the job, such as different failure modes and mechanisms in electronic equipment. We got down to the material-level characteristics of failures.

I heard back less than a week later about moving on to the technical rounds, where I was interviewed by four other engineers in the department. Each interviewer had different competency and behavioral questions.

I heard back less than a week later and learned that I was hired.
