I applied through an employee referral and was contacted by the head recruiter of the team by email about 10 days after. She wanted to set up a phone screen with the hiring manager, and we scheduled it for a couple of days later.
The hiring manager called me on that day and conducted a one-hour interview. The first half hour focused on my past job responsibilities and behavioral questions, after which he gave me a chance to ask a few questions. The second half hour was dedicated to technical topics.
I waited three weeks after the interview, which I thought went really well, with no news. I then emailed the recruiter to inquire about the status. She informed me that the manager felt my aptitude wasn't at the required level for the position, even though my technical expertise was on point. It seems my misstep was in the behavioral section, not the technical one. Both the recruiter and the hiring manager were courteous and professional throughout the process.

If you have a DC power supply in series with a 1k resistor and a 6k resistor, give the equation that describes the voltage across the 6k resistor.
Switch the 6k resistor for an inductor, what is the voltage across the inductor?
Switch the inductor for a capacitor, what is the voltage across the 1k resistor?
Change the 1k resistor for a cap identical to the other one, what is the voltage drop across each cap?
Change one of the caps to make it double the capacity of the other one, what is the voltage drop across each cap?
