Interview Process:

1. Recruiter call
2. Online test in Codility tool
3. Two technical rounds (Data Structures)

I was able to proceed through the online test but was not able to pass the first technical round.

I would suggest Microsoft not only test candidates on data structures. If a candidate can solve a problem without relying on specific data structures, you should consider that candidate.

Most of the questions asked in Microsoft technical interviews were already available on LeetCode. If someone has already used LeetCode, they will have a higher chance of selection.

Therefore, I would suggest you test candidates in all aspects. Technology and concepts can be learned in a month or two, but attitude and character are very important qualities to assess in a candidate.

Online Test:

1. Count how many 1 bits are set after the multiplication of two numbers.
2. Implement cd (Unix command) functionality.

Technical Round 1:

1. Formal introduction.
2. Role in the current project.
3. Which UI framework/technology is better?
4. Write a decompressing program to convert the string. Example input: 3[b2[ca]] Example output: bcacabcacabcaca
