Process
Sent resume at campus career fair, got contacted by HR six months later for a full-time position. A phone interview followed by an on-site interview at headquarters. The on-site interview consisted of four rounds, with four one-on-one interviews with Microsoft engineers.
Questions
Most difficult questions are server-related, as I don't know much about them.

Pros: Job security, employee discount in Microsoft Store, free PC, tablet, phone, Xbox, decent compensation. Still vibrant in some ways.
Cons: Lots of processes. Stock-based compensation is limited compared to companies whose stock price actually changes. Not headquartered in Silicon Valley. Often limited to its proprietary technologies.
