Process
The interview consisted of two questions.
The first was about finding the median of two sorted arrays. I suggested sorting the arrays before calculating the median, which the interviewer found unimpressive. He asked me to consider the most optimal solution, which I failed to produce.
The second question was about finding the count of unique characters in a given string. I initially proposed a counting algorithm, for which he gave a "no." I then used HashSets, which he also did not like.
