Pros: 1. You can control which area you wish to build your expertise on. 2. Lots of great teams to work in. 3. Great perks. 4. Totally a personal call if you wish to extend your peers as 'beer buddies'.

Cons: 1. Recently, terrible politics has cropped up. 2. Leads/Management care about you only if you don't spot the blemishes on their work. 3. Gaining visibility in teams has become such a necessary evil that some would resort to doing senseless work and canvassing opinions from alike dumb leads (while other true contributors don't get their own due kudos for their contribution). 4. Recently, an Employee MS poll lost its confidentiality, and leads/Managers could specifically spot each employee's feedback on them (which was supposed to be highly confidential).

Pros: Latest technology built within the company, customer-focused services, great people to work with, and great work-life balance.

Cons: There is too much legacy to follow. Many technology-related things depend on the team you are working in and also the project.

Pros: Best reasons to work: * Challenging and interesting work. * Very capable teammates and dev leads; lots of opportunities to learn and grow. * Relaxed work environment; set your own hours, get free drinks and coffee, wear whatever you want. It doesn't sound like much, but it helps make the work environment a lot less stressful. * Tech talks and courses you can take to learn more about programming.

Cons: Food isn't as good. There are cafeterias serving food, but they could definitely be serving better quality or more variety.
