Process

The interview was very casual. The interviewer asked me a couple of questions about a previous school project and one technical question. It was an on-campus interview, and I am still waiting for their response.

Questions

Given an array of 999,999 numbers, from 1 to 1,000,000, there is one number missing. The array is not sorted, and you can only access the array using a function getNumber(), which pops one number from the array. Each number in the array can only be accessed once. There is one number missing from 1 to 1 million. Which number is this?
