This is an internship.
Submit your resume during campus career sessions. I had an on-campus interview (first round, 1:1) two weeks later. I received the results 2-3 weeks later and booked a date for an on-site interview after another two weeks. It took almost two months before I went to the final round. I received notifications for each step of the process usually when I had forgotten about it, but I was typically required to reply within one or two days.
The on-site interview consisted of 4-5 rounds of 1:1 interviews with senior engineers, leaders, or managers. This included one lunch interview. Coding might be required before or after eating, so it's better to have something light. The interviewers were nice. Chatting with them about your ideas and concerns can help you get more support to finish the questions. Ask questions to show your interests, which helps them decide which product team you might fit into. Be prepared to brainstorm when answering testing questions; it's better to let them stop you than to stop generating ideas yourself.
You may get a decision shortly after the final round of interviews, and the offer document may be ready in days.
Prepare to code on paper and review basic data structures and algorithms before going on-site. Sleep well before the interview; that's important.
Generally, the workplace is good, not much different from universities. Office/building styles vary depending on the building's age. The transit system across the company is perfect. People are accustomed to talking and walking in the rain. Many people are initially from places other than Redmond. There wasn't much time to look around during the on-site days.
