Process

The first step was a phone screen by the recruiter.

The recruiter is a subcontractor for Microsoft that searches databases for resumes.

The second step was a tech screen. This was typically done over the phone, but mine was on campus. Questions related to testing and coding simple problems, such as reversing a string or reversing words in a string, were asked.

The third step was a full day of interviews.

There were four or five interviews in total, ranging from technical to behavioral.

The last interview was with the hiring manager.
