Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) Interview Experience

Process

Hired through a career fair at a top-tier school. The first step was a Skype interview for a PM position, which was pretty straightforward.

Two weeks later, I was contacted for the final round. A couple of days later, my application changed from PM to SDET. Although I didn't want that position, I decided to go and learn more about Microsoft.

The final round consisted of three interviews (one SDE, one SDET, one PM) and lunch. There was a fair amount of coding involved, along with a full behavioral interview with the PM.
