Process
I started my journey at a school career fair, which led to my selection for an on-campus interview.
Two weeks later, I received an email inviting me to Seattle for an on-site interview.
The on-site interview lasted a full day, with four interviews scheduled from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
After lunch, I was informed that I had been offered an SDE intern position.
Overall, the questions were not exceptionally difficult. However, it's important to demonstrate how you would approach each problem.
Interviewers were aware that questions were posted online and expected not only correct answers but also insight into your thought process and understanding.
Be prepared with algorithms and data structures.

Good code, but not so good management

Pros: The manager mentored us and gave us lots of useful suggestions for our future career paths.
Cons: The whole management of the internship program is in chaos. Our real mentor was not the manager, but the real mentor had nearly no effect on our project. The manager was in charge of everything, which brought some blur in the goal of the project and some problems in our teamwork. The salary for the internship was fairly low compared to other companies.

Pros: Very helpful and approachable seniors.
Great work environment and work culture.
Beautiful campus at Hyderabad with a great cafeteria and all sorts of sports facilities, in case you enjoy playing some.
Regular team outings and lunches.
Above all, at Microsoft, you work on products which have a huge impact.
Cons: Pays a little less than other competitive companies like Google; at least the starting salary is less. Being an intern, I don't know about career growth and increments.

Amazing Place to Be At

Pros: Round-the-clock facilities for almost anything you require. You will not be able to adjust to the work environments of other companies after enjoying the facilities here.
All employees are very helpful and cheerful. As an intern, you will not be discriminated against or left alone. You have opportunities to go out and meet other teams in the department and get along with your team during team outings, lunches, and games throughout the week.
Cons: Some teams have rigorous meetings and scrums three times a week, needing a new solution every meeting, but not necessarily. If you can get used to a similar routine way of working in the IT industry, then this is the best place. If you are interested in more interactive work, any IT company is not recommended for that case.
